This Privacy Policy explains what information the mobile game Quantum Loop
("the Game", "we", "us") processes when you play it on iOS or Android, how it is used, and the
choices you have. By playing the Game you agree to this policy.
Quantum Loop does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or any
other directly identifying personal information to play. Game services sign you in
automatically with a randomly generated player ID, which is not linked to your identity.
1. Information we process
Game account & saved progress — via
Unity Gaming Services (UGS). We use a randomly generated player ID (Authentication)
and store a copy of your game progress on Unity's servers so it can be synchronised
(Cloud Save): high score, statistics, Quantum Shards, unlocked cosmetics, settings, and daily
mission and challenge progress. The same data is also kept on your device.
Leaderboards — your best score and an automatically assigned display name
(for example "PLAYER #1290321") are stored by UGS Leaderboards and are visible to other
players.
Gameplay analytics — gameplay events (e.g. game start and end, score,
retries, ad and purchase events) linked to your player ID, together with technical
information such as device model, operating system, app version and approximate country,
via UGS Analytics. We use them to understand and improve the Game. Where the law requires
consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland), analytics is collected only if you agree in the consent
form, and it stops if you withdraw consent (see Section 4).
Crash reports — if the Game crashes or reports an error, Unity Cloud
Diagnostics receives the error details together with device model, operating system and
app version, so that we can fix the problem.
Game configuration — the Game downloads balance settings from
Unity Remote Config; the request includes your player ID and app information.
Advertising data — the Game shows ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may
access a device advertising identifier and device information to serve and measure ads. On
iOS, personalized ads use tracking only if you allow it via the App Tracking Transparency
prompt, and in the EEA, UK and Switzerland only with your consent (see Section 4).
Purchases — the one in-app purchase, "Remove Ads", is processed by
Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive only the purchase status needed
to unlock it; we never receive your payment details.
Reminders — if you allow notifications, the Game schedules reminder
notifications locally on your device. No push server is involved and no data is sent for
them.
2. How we use information
Provide core gameplay and save/synchronise your progress.
Show global and personal leaderboards.
Diagnose and fix crashes and errors.
Send reminder notifications, if you allow them.
Display advertising and enable optional rewarded ads.
Process and restore in-app purchases.
Measure and improve game performance and balance.
3. Third parties & processors
We rely on the following service providers, each with their own privacy policy:
In the EEA, UK and Switzerland the Game shows a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform)
before any ads are requested or analytics is collected. If you do not consent, the Game serves
only limited, non-personalized ads and does not collect analytics. You can review or change your
choice at any time in the Game: Settings → Privacy Settings.
On iOS 14 and later, the Game asks for your permission before any tracking that uses the device
advertising identifier. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.
You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On
Android you can reset or limit your advertising ID in system settings.
5. Children
The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data,
contact us and we will delete it.
6. Data retention & deletion
Cloud data is kept while the game account exists. Deleting the app removes the data stored on
your device. To request deletion of the data stored on Unity's servers, contact us at the address
below and include the leaderboard name shown in the Game (for example "PLAYER #1290321") so that
we can find your account; we will action your request.
7. Your rights
Depending on your region (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA), you may have rights to
access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to object to certain processing.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
8. Security
We and our processors use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the
"Last updated" date at the top of this page.
